Maria Barnes is the new Tulsa City Council representative for District Four. Eric Gomez was defeated at the polls. I am rarely please by any political action, but I am very pleased by this outcome.
I sincerely hope the new Mayor and the Council will stop the tax-and-spend tendencies that have harmed the city and its citizens in the recent past.
We don't need rulers; we need principled representatives who will return us to fiscal responsibility and protect the natural rights of our people.
